EPA 608 Universal-Certified Technicians
Our recovery work is performed by technicians who hold EPA § 608 Universal certification, with field practices built around compliant recovery, segregation, and documentation.
EPA-Approved Refrigerant Reclaimer
Chiller City is an EPA-approved Refrigerant Reclaimer. Recovered refrigerant is routed through appropriate reclamation or destruction channels based on condition and type.
Autonomous Field Operations
We can perform on-site recovery without requiring power, utilities, or support equipment from the site. This is ideal for decommissioning, remote facilities, and controlled access environments.
Municipal & Hazardous Waste Programs
Chiller City works directly with municipal governments, hazardous waste centers, and environmental programs to support bulk refrigerant recovery from large numbers of appliances and systems. We are equipped for high-volume recovery from refrigerators, freezers, air conditioners, and other refrigerant-containing appliances—and we can operate fully autonomously on site when needed.
Bulk Appliance Recovery
We support scheduled collection events and permanent hazardous waste facilities. Our crews and equipment are built for throughput, safety, and consistent handling practices.
No Site Utilities Required
We can provide everything required to complete the work on-site—without relying on facility power, compressed air, water, or other utilities. This reduces coordination overhead and simplifies deployments.
Documentation & Traceability
We understand public-sector requirements for reporting and auditability and can provide documentation that supports compliance and internal recordkeeping. Refrigerant purchases and reclamation are reported directly to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
