In many cases, that means fully refurbished recirculating chillers rebuilt and customized to your requirements. When a new unit is the better technical or commercial choice, we supply new equipment from leading manufacturers including Julabo, Ferrotec, and others. Our recommendations are driven by performance, lead time, and total cost of ownership—not by pushing a single product category.

Purchasing a used recirculating chiller can significantly reduce capital cost and lead time, but it often comes with risk. Will it operate reliably? Can it be repaired economically? Can it be adapted to your specific application?

Every unit is evaluated mechanically, electrically, and thermally, then rebuilt using proven processes and high-quality components. If a modification is needed—capacity changes, control upgrades, refrigerant conversions, or interface changes—we perform that work in-house before shipment. When a refurbished unit is not the right solution, we will say so and recommend a new system that better fits the application.

We stock hundreds of chillers and temperature control systems from leading manufacturers including Neslab, Fisher Scientific, Cole-Parmer, Branson, McQuay, Temptronic, Tenney, Thermotron, Tek-Temp, and others. Many units have seen little or no prior use. All refurbished equipment is guaranteed to meet or exceed original manufacturer specifications.
Every refurbished unit includes a minimum 90-day parts and labor warranty, subject to our standard Terms & Conditions. Extended warranties are available, and OEM service contracts—for both refurbished and new equipment—can be arranged when desired.
Faster Delivery and Customization
Because of our large inventory, we are often able to deliver equipment in a fraction of the lead time required for new OEM units. Our customization capabilities allow us to adapt standard equipment for applications beyond the original design intent—often avoiding the need for expensive custom OEM builds. When factory-new equipment is required, we work closely with our manufacturing partners to minimize lead times and ensure correct configuration from the outset.

Additional Services
In addition to equipment sales, Chiller City offers factory-trained service for Neslab and many other temperature and refrigeration systems. Services include on-site and depot repair, fully warranted service work, air-to-water and water-to-air cooling conversions, and refrigerant conversions to environmentally friendly alternatives.
We also purchase used temperature-related equipment and accept trade-ins—particularly Neslab systems—providing a cost-effective and environmentally responsible solution for surplus equipment.
